Co-operation with Industry
One of the objectives of the Centre for Digital Transformation (CDT) is the realisation of research pertinent to the socio-economic phenomena and co-operation with various industry sectors. Co-operation with these organisations, listed in alphabetical order, substantiates, and concretises the linkage between academic research and the subsequent application in practice.
BOS Automotive Products CZ, s.r.o.
Continuous innovations and improvements of this company have led to specific knowledge in textile and leather cutting, cover manufacturing and sequential assembly. The co-operation with CDT develops process improvement projects with our students in the framework of an internship and diploma theses. These processes are associated with manufacture and office systems.
Ernst & Young, s.r.o.
EY is one of the global leaders in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services. The insights and quality services build trust and confidence in the capital markets worldwide. CDT works closely with the Department of Performance Improvement. There has been an investigation in additive manufacturing and its usage in the Czech Republic, in developing a methodology and to establish co-operation between universities and the business sector. In addition, the team maps the inovative projects of Industry 4.0 that have been implemented in the Czech Republic.
Express Deli, s.r.o.
Established in Prague in 2001, this enterprise and its activities focus on the express catering service. The co-operation with CDT is in the framework of an internship and diploma theses. Students can thus contribute to improving the processes that are related to manufacturing, logistics, and administrative processes.
LATECOERE Czech Republic, s.r.o.
Latécoère Czech Republic operates in the aviation and aerospace industry. It contributes significantly to the production portfolio of Groupe Latécoère. It is currently a major supplier of leading aircraft manufacturers. It provides students the opportunity to participate in improving the processes, who then use these experiences during the development of their theses. In addition, many graduates of the University of Economics benefit from full-time employment.
People Management Forum, z. s.
Is a professional non-profit organisation that brings together experts to raise awareness about the process of corporate governance in the personnel area. It is an advisory and is a recognised authority in human relations. Co-operation between CDT and this association takes the form of various investigations on employment issues, human resources management, and the changes that affect jobs subject to upcoming digitisation.
EMS – European Manufacturing Survey
CDT joins the consortium organizing the European Manufacturing Survey to detect current state of innovations related to Industry 4.0 in Industry in the European countries. Each institution is responsible for organizing the survey in their country. The organization enables global scale comparison and gaining synergies within organization and analyses of the data.The leading institution of EMS is the Fraunhofer Institute.
