prof. Dr. Jiří Hnilica is the head of the Center, vice-rector for international relations and the head of the Department of Strategy, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics, Prague. His research interests include family business, strategic management and corporate governance. Dr. Hnilica spent 5 months at the University of Aarhus (Denmark) a 4 months at the University of Denver (USA). He is also visiting professor at the Bocconi University (Italy). He is author or co-author of more than 110 publications.
Ing. Martin Jurek, Ph.D., MIM is assistant professor at the Department of International Business, Faculty of International Relations, University of Economics, Prague where he teaches in English the course Financial Management in International Business. He spent two research semesters at Wirtschaftsuniversität in Vienna and a study year in the USA. The issue of goals, family relationships, succession, and finance in family businesses is not only the subject of his research, but a daily practice as he himself works in a family business. Martin is a moderator of the International Federation for Family Development courses. IFFD has General Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Councial.
Dr. Aleš Kubíček is assistant professor at the Department of Strategy, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics, Prague. He studied at the University of Economics, Prague and Charles University. His main research interests include corporate governance, gender diversity and intragroup conflicts in family business. He is author or co-author of more than 30 publications. His publications include Family Business Review and Organizational Dynamics.
Dr. Ondřej Machek is associate professor at the Department of Strategy, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics, Prague. He is former head of the Research Support Center and former editor-in-chief of Central European Business Review. He graduated from the University of Economics, Prague and Czech Technical University in Prague. He is specialized in family business and regulation of public utilities. He is author or co-author of more than 80 publications, including Family Business Review and Organizational Dynamics.
Stanislav Servus is external lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics, Prague, and attorney-at-law in Dvořák Hager & Partners legal office. Stanislav Servus long-term interests include family businesses, their governance and ownership. Stanislav is member of Family Firm Institute and holder of Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising.
Dr. Petra Štamfestová is assistant professor at the Department of Strategy, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics, Prague. She is specialized in family business, corporate governance and financial management. She is author or co-author of more than 30 publications.
