The main goal of the Institute of Management is to effectively connect the academic potential of the faculty into the solution of the current problems of the corporate practice and gradually bring these two often different environments closer together. The primary objective within the executive education is to prepare current and future executives in their roles as successful managers and leaders in an international setting. In addition, to create quality learning opportunities that enhance the financial growth and opportunities for faculty development. The Institute of Management offers short-term and long-term educational programmes for the professional public in the area of management, marketing and sales, personnel management and entrepreneurship, HR management, strategy and other. We offer both open courses and tailored courses. To carry out its activities the Institute relies on internal faculty members as well as members of other faculties of the Prague University of Economics and Business and external experts from practice. The Centres of excelence focus mainly on contractual research activities and are composed of relatively independent interdisciplinary teams of academics and practitioners specialising in a particular field or issue.
