About CWER

Center for Workplace Research has been established to explore contemporary work, related changes and transformations in work environments, and the social and cultural aspects that shape an individual in the context of a selected labour process. CWER conducts applied research and related advisory for various organizations and the public sector.

CWER’s strategic goals are:

  1. To contribute to the scholarly debate on work, workplace and related processes within. CWER aims to conduct theoretical and empirical research in workplace research and produce academic papers that seek publication in subject related peer-reviewed journals, edited volumes and monographs.
  2. To knit relations with other workplace research networks within the CEE region and in a wider European and global context.
  3. To work closely with the industry players and respond to policy makers’ relevant inquiries to enhance relevant policy mechanisms.

CWER operates as a centre of excellence and is an integral part of the Institute of Management at the Faculty of Business Administration, Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE).
